  We popped in for takeaway on the 3 May around 2:30pm. The young gentleman who served us was super friendly. Like confusing my left from right I said I wanted chips wrapped when I meant open - long story short he took my fumbling in stride and was sweet as pie. We were visiting from SW London and I'd promised my son we'd stop at Toff's just for chips this time - we sat on a bench and loved every bite. They are the best chips in London. At bed time Sunday, my son always tells me what his favourite things were we did on the weekend - and this was one of his things - Toff's chips! I've been popping here and there since 2009 when I lived in Muswell Hill. Not only is Toff's great but it's one of the most consistently great places I've ever been. Thank you !!

  It was my first time trying fish and chips here and I had a really lovely experience. The fish was absolutely delicious, fresh, crunchy, well drained and not greasy at all. I was worried it might taste oily or soggy but it was fried perfectly. It also came with two different sauces and the thin garlic sauce was absolutely amazing and full of flavour. Chips weren't my favourite. The service was excellent. Even though I asked so many questions about the different fish options, Ahmad was incredibly patient, friendly and helpful throughout and always answered with a smile. The restaurant was also very clean and tidy, especially considering we visited in the afternoon. I really liked the atmosphere and the little details on the tables and placemats which made the place feel welcoming and cosy. The only small suggestion I would make is about the vinegar bottles. They looked nice but without a proper lid the vinegar seemed to lose some of its strong flavour over time. A lid or shaker top would help keep that classic vinegar taste much fresher and stronger so you can really taste it on the chips. The prices are on the higher side, so a small side salad with the fish would be a nice addition. Overall, a very enjoyable first fish and chips experience and I would definitely come back.

  Disappointed with the Fish and chips I had today. I always tell people how good Toffs fish and chips are but the fish was dry no crispy batter. Chips were warm. I will probably try once more bur not again if Iget the same.

  Muswill hill has great destinations for food but Toffs by far is the best. Taste,.choice and servic with a smile. Very happy Thank you Krista... Mr fabulous official
